Girls’ flag football is the fastest-growing sport in the country. In the 2024–25 school year, 68,847 girls competed in high school flag football — a 60% increase from the previous year. It is no surprise then that Flag will be making its debut at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.

Until now, there has not been an opportunity for girls here in the Hamptons to learn and play flag together. Hamptons Flag was founded by a group of local parents wanting to change that. Now girls will have an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the game, develop their skills, build confidence and — most importantly — play and compete together from a young age. By providing a safe, fun and exciting place to try a new sport, we hope many of our daughters will fall in love with the game and continue playing into High School and beyond.

Whether a player has never picked up a football or is already excited about the game, we want every girl to have the opportunity to get on the field, learn and play. No prior experience is required!
